Charles will introduce the newly formed World Class Center for Cybersecurity, explaining exactly why the initiative came to fruition and how we are tackling the latest market needs.
Charles White is a cybersecurity veteran, having co-founded IRM with David Cazalet in 1998. Serving as CEO since the company’s inception, he has successfully guided it from a small consultancy into an innovative and dominant leader within the information security industry.

Gameiro will share updates and his views on the latest developments in the cybersecurity industry in Portugal.
António Gameiro Marques graduated in Naval Military Sciences and served as Navigator in various naval vessels. After a major in communications, he graduated in electrical and computer engineering at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
Since then, several missions and positions have been held in the technology area: Modernization and Automation of Radionaval Stations; Portugal’s representation to NATO bodies responsible for information and communication technologies; Already promoted to Rear Admiral, he holds the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in 2009. In 2013, he is appointed to the position of Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defense.

Phil Huggins, Director of CISO Mentor, will talk about approaches to improving the state of cybersecurity, using his 20 years experience as a CISO to bring you insight into best practice.
Phil Huggins is an independent consultant who has spent the last 20 years as a security & risk professional across multiple commercial sectors and in government. He has extensive experience of governance, management, system engineering and practical architecture across a wide range of disciplines and technologies. Phil is also experienced in briefing and presenting cybersecurity risk concepts to boards and training NEDs, and founded CISO Mentor.
