Information Risk Management (IRM) is delighted to announce that SYNERGi, their cybersecurity software solution has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Risk Management/Regulatory Compliance Solution’ category by the world’s largest dedicated IT security publication, SC Magazine. In addition, a client of IRM’s – Legal and General’s David King, has been shortlisted in the “CISO of the Year” category.
The SC Magazine Awards Europe is the information security industry’s most prominent recognition, judged by a panel of industry experts. This year, the panel has received more entrants to the awards than ever before.
Having previously won “Consultancy of the Year” in 2013 and ‘Best Risk Management/Regulatory Compliance Solution’ in 2017, IRM re-entered the latter category this year to highlight the numerous advances in the SYNERGi platform.
SYNERGi award entry explores the strong global customer base that the solution has developed since being acquired by Altran, one of the world’s largest engineering and R&D organisations.
IRM’s growing relationship with Altran has opened up opportunities to global clients who are looking for ways to effectively manage their cyber compliance. With the hard work of the SYNERGi software development team, a range of new modules have been introduced, expanding the capabilities of the platform for our customers.
In addition to our product award submission, IRM supported the submission of David King for the “CISO of the Year” category. David is the Chief Information Security Officer at Legal & General (L&G), a long-standing client of IRM.
David has successfully worked to create a strong IT security team at L&G since he joined in late 2016. Specifically, he has led the development of the organisational model for operating security. He’s achieved this by focusing on security as being part of the business rather than separate, whilst championing the function across the L&G Executives and the Group Board.
